Plot Summary: Following her previous victory in Bridewell, 13-year-old Alexa must venture beyond the fallen walls to restore peace. She faces new threats including giants, a black swarm of bats, and a mastermind named Victor Grindall. Her quest leads her across the dangerous Dark Hills and the Valley of Thorns toward the land of Castalia.
Series Order: It follows the first book, The Dark Hills Divide, and is succeeded by the third installment, The Tenth City.
